We must not forget or diminish the importance of Christmas as the Birthday of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ

Jesus Came to Save all who were lost. We all our lost spiritually. Jesus came to save sinners. We were all born to sin. He came as a baby, grew into a man to experience the pain and suffering that we would endure. He was God and man. Then He took our place on the cross to save us from eternal Hell. How are you seeing Christmas this year? Well here is my Christmas Reflection. Though we are in the middle of this hustle and bustle, shopping and buying, giving and loving. As we are putting up the mistletoe and the garland. Let's not forget about playing that Christmas music. Wow, do we have everything we want. That's what we think. What are you wishing for this Christmas? Are you anxiously awaiting for that perfect present? Jesus wants us to look beyond the wrapping paper and that visible gift. He wants us to look at the heart and love that goes deep down inside those gifts. Well, in Gods word he tells us in Luke 12-22-23 Jesus said to his disciples, therefore I tell you, do not be anxious and troubled with cares about your life, as to what you will eat or about your body, as to what you will have to wear, for life is more than food and the body is more than clothes. We all wished for our two front teeth. But, Jesus says don't be anxious for it, they will come. Has anyone heard the song "All I want for Christmas is Jesus". That is the song I am going to be singing this Christmas. My prayer this Christmas is that we look for Jesus in our present. All Jesus wants is for us to give him our hearts behind the toys, and the tvs and the rings and the other gifts. Toys will break and get lost. Things will get misplaced. Jesus through those Christmas Tree Lights shine your light through us this Christmas. In Eph. 2:8-9 For it is by free grace that you are saved through faith. And this is not of yourselves but it is by the gift of God. Are you looking for the most expensive gift? What about the biggest? Well, you will find that gift in Jesus Christ. This gift cost no money, and He is everywhere you would want Him to be. Rev. 22:17 The Spirit and bride say, Come! And let him who is listening say Come! And let everyone who is thirsty and whoever desires to do it! Let him come, take, drink, the water of Life without cost. Merry Christmas to all!!

The Gift of Light. As you light your candle this Holiday Season, remember who gave you that Light. Jesus the Light of this world gave you the light that dwells inside of you. Even though the candle may burn out sooner or later, Jesus provided us with an everlasting light. Enjoy your candle burning beside you and remember that Jesus gave you an everlasting light to burn forever within your heart so that the world may know Him. So let Him shine through this Holiday Season for it is not our own light His light in us that allows His work to be done through us. Isa. 60:19 The sun shall no more be your light by day, nor for brightness shall be the moon give to you, but the Lord shall be an everlasting light. Matt. 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Remember our job is so that people may be attracted to the Jesus light and not our own. Thank you Jesus for your everlasting light, that does not burn out, but burns for eternity.

CHANGING SEASONS. Wow are we in the times of change all around us. God says that there will be change in the last days. To be alert and watchful for what is around us. If you you feel or see change think upon Jesus Christ in you and working through you. All you people who hear Gods voice calling you, He says come unto me all who are thirsty and I will give you drink. Here is a poem about change. As you read it think of your own life and season you are in and the season who went through. Plus you can relate it to the actual weather season that is around us. This is called Changing Season When the Seasons change from hot to cold, fall to winter, spring to summer so are we in Jesus Christ. As the leaves start falling and the flower buds start to fade so does our old self in Jesus Christ. As the new start to come, the green starts to sprout, the flowers start to grow, so does our new self in Jesus Christ. When the seasons are changing from hot to cold, warm to cool, so are we in Jesus Christ. Enjoy the Season that you are in ! Praise be to God. Dan. 2:21 He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives us wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. May you allow God to work in you and through you this season. Our king is preparing his bride for when He calls all of us home. Amen. May God be the God of your heart.
